For a long time, I thought I needed to create a polished, professional audiobook version of My Dandelion Story - a fancy microphone, a silent room set up, perfect edits.

But something in me was sticky and I was resisting starting.

I live in a terrace house in the middle of a city. There are neighbours renovating, dogs barking, life happening all around me. One day as I honestly shared my resistance with Pete my support worker, I realised… maybe the medicine isn’t in polished perfection.

Maybe it’s in my presence.

So instead, I’m sharing My Dandelion Story here, chapter by chapter, in my own time, exactly as I am.
